curiosity

Day two of the challenge – today’s word was ‘curiosity’, this will be a song at some point, here’s the lyrics half.

Do you wonder what’s behind that door

Do you question why it doesn’t open anymore

Its strange how these things happen to us

It’s even stranger to me how we can just trust

That sometimes it’s better not to know a thing

And sometimes it worse to know more than we’d think

I desire the answers to questions I don’t know

I want all the answers because I want to know how it’ll go

I wanna know about space

I wanna know what lives in the deep blue sea

I wanna know about the old

I wanna know all the history

I want to know about you

And what you feel

When you think about the sun

I wanna know about us

I don’t need to know

I’m just curious

Do you ever think about where it all began

Do you ever wonder who you would’ve been in a foreign land

Sometimes I dream about things that seem so real

Sometimes I wake up and don’t know what I feel

But sometimes it’s nice to float through the day

Not affected by what people do or say

I’m always questioning what things mean

I catch myself sometimes caught up in the places I’ve been

Faces hanging on the walls of my memory

The biggest painted portrait of you and me

I look up in amazement, it’s nothing new

In an unknown place I just stare at the view

I wanna know about your mind

I wanna know everything I can find

I wanna know about your mum and dad

I wanna know all the memories you had

I want to know about this

And what you feel

When we kiss

I wanna know about us

I don’t have to know

I’m just curious
